The media has been campaigning to make nutrition more confusing than it needs to be for years. Just think back and recall the great egg debate. This week eggs are good for you, now they’re bad for you, in a non-stop back and forth that had you worried about everything you put in your mouth. Today they do the same thing with coffee. First it’s good, then it’s the devil, and then it’s good again. Who can keep up?
All of this can be attributed to natural human error and the persistent need of news outfits to publish material. That’s why it’s called the “news” and not the “truths.” But more recent attacks on substances that are clearly vital nutrients have gone too far.
So what nutrients have fallen out of favor with the wingnut media? Vitamin D and Coconut oil.
For starters, the most popular and practical cooking methods call for the use of oils to stop food from burning onto the pan. But most of the available oils are super unhealthy. The worst offender is canola oil. You might have thought it was butter or fat. No. These, it turns out are actually good for you. Butter and fat are only unhealthy if you burn them, the same goes for bacon.
But if you insist on using a vegetable oil for cooking, coconut oil is by far the healthiest vegetable-based oil in the world. If you’re an ethics-based vegan or vegetarian, coconut oil is your best bet. It is the best source of fat you can get without eating animal fat.
Now, a Harvard medical professor is calling coconut oil “pure poison.” That is pure madness. It is a bald-faced attack on an important and valuable source of nutrients. Don’t take our word, look up the science on this. If you are a steadfast vegetarian or vegan, you NEED coconut oil to have a chance of being healthy over the long term.
You can bet your fanny that anyone coming out of the mainstream education system is going to be absolutely clueless when it comes to nutrition. They are still pushing the food pyramid, which has been totally busted for years for encouraging people to load up on breads while getting dangerously low levels of protein.
Well, it isn’t just this one kooky doctor either. The whole of the left wing media took up this professor’s torch and proclaimed to the heavens that coconut oil is a major health hazard. The best thing you could say is that these hacks are just desperate to seem to have a scoop on their hands. But everyone with an ounce of sense sees this for what it is. Of course, it would not be unfair to accuse the media of engaging in a campaign of outright anti-human disinformation.
Coconut oil has been in the human diet for hundreds of thousands of years. It is a superbly clean, plant-based oil, with high levels of healthy triglycerides which- unlike canola oil- is not mixed with burned carbon and ruined before sale.
Coconut oil is good for you. It has no pesticides, herbicides, no hormones- natural or engineered- and is GMO-free in most cases.
The people who are defaming it are the same people telling you that partially hydrogenated soybean oil is good for you. Never mind the fact that it is produced in the wrong way with zero probiotics, and totally devoid of nutritional value. These are the same people who push corn oil- because the corn market is so heavily subsidized.
And we haven’t even started talking about their new hatred for vitamin D.
We don’t need to go into depth except to say that yet another high-level academic fraud has come out and said that vitamin D is a poison.
It’s almost like they’re trying to kill you.
These are the same idiots who tell you pesticides are a miracle, GMOs are great, the same people who tell you there should be more mercury in vaccines, and that children should be loaded up with more vaccines at an earlier age.
These are sick people. And if you look at them, you can tell in many cases that they take their own advice. They are overweight and look about ten years older than they should. That’s what lies and poison will do you.
