Deadly Glyphosate Poison is in Much of Our Food

A report published in 2013 describes the dangers of glyphosate and points out the fact that it is in just about everything you buy in the supermarket. It is entitled, “Glyphosate’s Suppression of Cytochrome P450 Enzymes and Amino Acid Biosynthesis by the Gut Microbiome: Pathways to Modern Disease,” and its author is an eminent authority on the subject.

Dr. Stephanie Seneff is the co-author of a stunning report which shows how glyphosate is directly linked to autism, asthma, cancer, inflammatory bowel syndrome, depression, obesity, Attention Deficit Disorder, Alzheimer’s disease, ALS, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, developmental malformations, and infertility.

Glyphosate, the primary ingredient in Monsanto’s herbicide Roundup is sprayed on all GMO food products including corn, beets, soy, canola, cotton, and much more. You’ll notice that all these foods are the basis for many other popular food products.

In 2015, Seneff delivered a free lecture to a public audience in Honolulu delineating the many dangers and health detriments of glyphosate. She has a biology degree and is a senior science researcher at MIT’s Science and Computer Laboratory. Her 2013 report was published in the medical journal Entropy.

According to the report, the health risks of glyphosate exposure and consumption are caused by the chemical’s tendency to cause sulfur breakdown. Sulfur is an essential element in fertile soil and a lack of it causes the crops produced in that soil to set off the many diseases and disorders listed above as well as numerous others.

Not only is Roundup used on a wide variety of crops which are used in many food products, but it is utilized in major agricultural operations all over the world. For these reasons and others, Monsanto has been dragged into courtroom after courtroom all over the world with charges like ‘crimes against humanity.’

And this is no exaggeration. Monsanto just lost a major court case in San Fransisco, involving the death of a man who used Roundup in his work for over 20 years and is riddled with aggressive cancerous tumors. He will likely die in the coming months due to his exposure.

Dr. Seneff explained in an article that the predominant assertion that glyphosate presents only a minimal risk to humans is wrong. The truth is the real science has been buried. She explained that her team found glyphosate residues in foods all across the standard American diet. The biggest offenders are corn, wheat, soy, and sugar.

In addition to this, it is also toxic to animals due to glyphosate’s inhibitory response to the cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzyme. That is a fact that is often overlooked, and can affect humans who eat the affected animals in ways that are not yet well understood.

Her work details facts like the necessity of CYP enzymes for the crucial biological roles they play. One of the most important of these roles is to remove the toxicity from xenobiotics: which are foreign chemical compounds that are found in living organisms. Without these enzymes, xenobiotics can do untold harm.

To put it plainly, glyphosate hinders the ability of the body to resist harmful chemicals and today there are more foreign chemicals in our food, drugs, water, air, and homes than there ever has been in all of human history.

The leading health hazard facing Americans today comes from pharmaceutical drugs, and the active ingredient in Roundup is perfectly designed to lower any remaining resistance to these drugs.

Compound that with the realization that this stuff is in everything we eat and what you have here looks like a literal war on human health. Suddenly the charge of “crimes against humanity” no longer sounds over the top.

Glyphosate intensifies the damage that every other harmful substance we are exposed to does by lowering the ability of the immune system to fight it off and eliminate it.

Worse yet, Roundup is not just another herbicide that can be washed off. It does its harm in the way it affects the biology of the crops it is supposed to protect. That means you cannot wash your corn clean- it is altered on a cellular level. Don’t worry about wasting food. It’s not food. It’s poison.

You can avoid glyphosate sprayed food by paying attention to the label. No, not that label, it’s a sticker with a number on it. The first digit is the one that concerns you.

8 = Full on GMO frankenfood
3 = GMO, sprayed with any chemical imaginable
4 = Grown conventionally using synthetic fertilizers
9 = High quality, organically grown, nutrient dense, real food

You can expect to pay more for the 9s. But you’ll save that on your medical bills- and it’s worth it to stop giving your money to Monsanto.
