The World Health Organization appears to be changing its tune as top officials caution against more restrictive coronavirus lockdown measures.
In a series of statements, top officials have cautioned world governments that lockdowns are not the end-all-be-all means for containing the China-born virus, and that such measures may result in more harm than good. Essentially, the WHO seems to be adopting the positions long held by President Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and many others who have been excoriated by the mainstream press.
“We in the World Health Organization do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus,” WHO envoy Dr. David Nabarro said. “The only time we believe a lockdown is justified is to buy you time to reorganize, regroup, rebalance your resources, protect your health workers who are exhausted, but by and large, we’d rather not do it.”
Nabarro went on to highlight the dangers of freezing any and all economic activity, including making the poorest among us even poorer. Lockdown restrictions have made it impossible for low-income individuals to be able to hold a job. Even “essential” positions such as grocery store clerks have come more competitive with more candidates vying for the same job.
WHO executive director Mike Ryan supported Nabarro’s assertions in a statement on Friday.
“What we want to try and avoid, and sometimes it’s unavoidable, we accept that, but what we want to try to avoid are these massive lockdowns that are so punishing to communities, to societies and everything else,” he said.
The UN agency isn’t alone. Thousands of public health experts from the United States and Europe have also turned against the widespread lockdown measures.
“The opinion of public health experts is changing very rapidly,” Stanford University professor of medicine Jayanta Bhattacharya told the Wall Street Journal. “In March, I felt alone. [Now] I think there are a very large number of public health experts, epidemiologists, and doctors who oppose further lockdowns.”
It appears the so-called “experts” are a bit late to the party. Never before in the history of pandemics have healthy populations been forced to quarantine alongside the sick and vulnerable. The solution seems to be obvious: allow low-risk individuals to resume their lives and attain herd immunity, and continue to protect the elderly and vulnerable. It’s what we’ve always done in the face of a novel disease…
So, here’s the real question of the day: will pro-lockdown Democrats “listen to science,” as they’ve been saying for the better part of this year now? Don’t hold your breathe.

This is the latest attack by the left on Donald Trump. Now that the WHO does not condone lockdowns they will accuse Trump of trying to destroy the economy. They will say that scientists (Fauchy) never told Trump he had to shut everything down to “flatten the curve”. They must think we are really stupid with no memory of what has happened. Well, we do remember what has gone on and know what ends to which they will go to destroy Trump.

De. Fauxi (misspelled on purpose) advised Trump in Jan 2020 that the KungFlu Would not have any serious impact on the American citizens. And later on Fauci forgot he made that statement, and said Trump had no “plan”. Partly correct, he had Fauci’s Plan which was to make Trump look bad.

The so called experts will say whatever benefits them. Who benefits from lockdowns? I do not know but I do know that small businesses, the American economy, parents of school age children, working American citizens, and Senior Citizens DO NOT benefit at all. The majority of American Citizens can survive the virus sent to us by China, but many may not survive the greed, power hunger, and arrogance of their elected representatives. The lack of trust in them is a shame.

We have been told over and over again that masks and social distancing will stop the spread of the virus. We have been doing that for months now and now they tell us the virus is spreading and another wave in on it’s way.
If it is, the masks and social distancing was garbage and does not work.
I think they know they don’t work, but they love the control they have now over the people. They love acting like dictators. They don’t want it to end. It isn’t affecting them. They are sitting there, drawing their enormous salaries, plus benefits, plenty of help, plenty to eat, go where they please, do what they please and all the time telling us we can’t do that, because it will cause the virus to spread.
The only way we are going to be able to stop this crap, is to take away from them what they have taken from the American people. If we could do that, the virus would probably end overnight.
