Kentucky Senator Rand Paul once again clashed with Dr. Anthony Fauci over mask mandates and lockdown policies, arguing that the de facto Coronavirus Czar continues to go way too far.
Senator Paul has had several spats with Dr. Fauci over the course of the past year. Working for both the Trump and Biden administrations, Fauci has become the face of lockdown policies favored by Democrats to supposedly curb the spread of COVID-19. Senator Paul, who survived a coronavirus infection last year, has pushed back against the popular narrative. Now, he says Dr. Fauci’s stance is purely unscientific.
Citing a new study published by the Journal of the American Medical Association, a leading source for medical peer-reviewed material, Senator Paul slammed the authoritarian policies and the “petty tyrants” that support them. According to the study, vaccines and naturally-acquired immunities are far more effective in preventing the spread of the virus than previously believed.
“Sorry Dr Fauci and other fearmongers, new study shows vaccines and naturally acquired immunity DO effectively neutralize COVID variants,” the senator said. “Good news for everyone but bureaucrats and petty tyrants!”
The study, published on March 19, 2021, examined three groups of patients hospitalized at Emory University, exploring four different COVID variants. Researchers found that immunities acquired by vaccines and infections continue to be effective against the other variants.
Per the study:
“This study found neutralizing activity of infection- and vaccine-elicited antibodies against 4 SARS-CoV-2 variants, including B.1, B.1.1.7, and N501Y. Because neutralization studies measure the ability of antibodies to block virus infection, these results suggest that infection- and vaccine-induced immunity may be retained against the B.1.1.7 variant. As additional variants emerge, neutralizing-antibody responses after infection and vaccination should be monitored.”
“Limitations include the small sample size, possible selection bias, lack of clinical outcomes, and how neutralization titers correlate with protection.”
Pro-lockdown politicians love to throw out the phrase “follow the science.” If they truly meant any of that, they would retract everything they’ve proposed over the past year. Enough is enough.

sounds like flu shot , you will still get the flu just a different kind , covid is a flu with too many variations to have a vacine for it . Check temp daily ,dont wear a mask, be ready with antiviral at first sign of a fever ,stay home till it breaks . This worked well for me i had fever 2 days ,went back to work before Covid was a big thing didnot infect anyone. I usually get the flu every year even though i take flu shot.
