The American Journal of Medicine (AJM) has recently recommended Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as an effective form of early treatment for COVID-19.
Just one month ago, they would have been banned from the airwaves and the internet for making such a claim. Dr. Anthony Fauci himself used former President Donald Trump’s interest in HCQ as a reason to reject his approach to the pandemic. Fauci has even said that working under President Joe Biden is “liberating.”
We’re sure he does indeed feel liberated.
But the article by AJM shows that the anti-HCQ hysteria was fallacious. They wrote, “HCQ was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration in 1955. It has been used by hundreds of millions of people all over the world since then. It is sold over the counter in many countries, and has a well-recognized safety profile that should not raise any alarm[…]”
HCQ has been in regular use since 1683 as a way to treat and prevent malaria. In its long career as the go-to way to prevent and treat that deadly disease, it has been proven both safe and effective in the treatment of many other viral borne illnesses over the centuries.
When President Trump first heard of the medication, he believed that it was worth trying as a means of treating the disease we have come to call COVID-19. As you likely know, he was immediately called names for suggesting HCQ. He was accused in the media of promoting the use of bleach and chemicals used to clean aquariums. There were spurious stories in the news about people using bleach as a prophylactic against the disease and becoming ill or dying.
Soon, a number of veteran medical practitioners attempted to go public to say that they have been using HCQ for years to treat a wide range of problems and as a preventative against many others. Some even went so far as to say that they would recommend people take it regularly as a way to boost immunity. HCQ is particularly valuable in parts of the world where malaria is a constant threat. Places like part of Africa where people live under constant threat from malaria are all but unlivable without access to HCQ.
Today, Joe Biden occupies the office of the president and a Christmas miracle has taken place. HCQ is no longer aquarium cleaner, but a valuable life-saving medication with widely recognized potential as a valuable tool in the effort to fight COVID-19.
It’s nice to see a mainstream medical publication departing from politics for once — but it would have been nice to have had them say such things when it could have made a much bigger difference.
I had covid pneumonia in both lungs was given HCQ and 3 days later was able to go home iknew it was working because I could take a deep breath. This and all the rest against Trump and covid is all political jst bull sh t.
James N Morris. I had the same experience. I was on oxygen for 2 and 1/2 days and they took me off the oxygen. The fourth day, they came in and game me some test. i.e. walking around the room very fast to check my breathing and said I was good to go. However, I did have a light case of it. My husband was admitted to ICU with Covid 19 and his oxygen went down to 40. Thank God they got him breathing without a respirator. He was in 17 days before being released. Thank God for that medicine. We were both put on it immediatly.
I suspect you do not live in California. I was in the hospital for 2 days with lungs that were coagulating my blood with full on pneumonia. I mentioned it to my doctor and found it not available here. I ended up on 40 days of Xarelto to fix my blood clotting. HCQ would have been a 3 or 4 day fix. I had when in service and going into an area of high malaria infections. I was on it for 10 days while there and had no illnesses related to malaria.
I blame Dr. Fauci, for 90% of the deaths , he knew there was a preventive, and a cure, his job was to convince the president and the people, 2 million could die. To keep the economy down, Which what Trump was running on. Don’t take the vaccine. there are a lot of things coming out about it. It. Go to Doctors across America. They say healthy people don’t need it. The animals they gave it to and then exposed them to COVID, died.# are also made in China. You are absolutely right. I am a huge Trump fan, but one of the few mistakes he made was ever appointing Fauci as COVID Czar. Fauci may be a great researcher in the lab but he is utterly useless when it comes to forecasting what a virus will actually do. Biden has however given him reign over COVID to our disadvantage
What’s even more astonishing is the WHO, CDC and countless others who have disparaged president Trump because of his approval of this medication in combating covid-19 illnesses. They don’t even care that they are so dishonest and they are so transparent about their hatred for president Trump that they are announcing their radical change so soon after president Trump’s departure.
What a shock. President trump once again was right. It’s just a matter of time before sane minded people realize president trump had to constantly fight the media and liberals in this country and in spite of this worked for the people of this country and got things done.
With perhaps the exception of speaking to a “stop the steal” rally on Jan. 6, Trump’s instincts in both foreign and domestic policy served this country well. Now we must put up with a new president whose out of whack executive orders and dubious cabinet picks in only a week made us weaker and less safe. Hopefully, Mr. Biden will up his game and show some class by congratulating his predecessor for what he did well.

He knew if he kept expounding on it, that this medication would never be used to save lives! so when he himself got covid he talked about corticosteroids and another medication and attributed his well-being to those drugs. Weekly use of hydroxychloroquine by africans to ward off malaria is an excellent reason why COVID-19 is much lower in Africa than in the West where malaria is a much lesser concern. But there is another remedy for serious cases of flu, measles and maybe also COVID-19 that has escaped attention everywhere: CsCl, which is FDA approved as a treatment for certain aggressive cancers but has never been tested against RNA viruses. Simply take a scant tsp of CsCl mixed in a glass of juice, wait ~8hrs, then eat a banana. Expect diarrhea. Repeat 3-4X. That’s it!

It always was effective! I read all the studies closely. Anyone who read the studies could see that they were all manipulated. Either the patients were given toxic doses, different doses, given the doses late in the disease process, incomplete data and unverified data etc etc. Anyone who tried to report these inconsistencies was shut out of the msm except for a few shows on Fox.
What Dr. Fauci did and said while Trump was President, was horrible. I watched him stand behind the President and shake his head NO about HQC while President Trump was talking on air. { DR. Fauci wanted a new expensive drug to come out and it was like he didn’t care how many people died while we waited. Many hospitals wouldn’t allow people to get the treatment they wanted to try, first, and they died. Don’t ever forget that Bill Gates and Dr. Fauci had been to Wuhan before all of this happened because they wanted to make a vaccine, for the big money they would make.

Fraud Fauci needs to be charged with murder for all the people who died because he stopped the use of HQC. It was used successfully in the USA for a minor number of cases as well as widely around the world with success rates up to 90+%.
