In case you weren’t aware, we are now living in a dystopian nightmare straight out of an old sci-fi movie.
COVID-19 lockdown restrictions have transformed our way of life seemingly overnight. Mandates such as mask wearing have morphed from an optional precaution to a political signal for everyone around you. Considering that such mandates are in place just about everywhere, and that the virus continues to spread regardless, the only thing that masks seem to protect you from is scorn from your neighbors.
Consider Joe Biden’s conduct during the presidential campaign. The Delaware Democrat barely left his basement. When he did, he spoke to a handful of people — mostly reporters — from a considerable distance. His campaign ads almost always ended with a close-up of the former VP wearing a mask — standing by himself with no one close to him. At that point, it should have been clear that the mask is a political symbol more than anything else.
And what does it symbolize, exactly? Pro-lockdown activists will tell us that it symbolizes safety and compassion for those around you. The reality is that the message is one of subservience and obedience. This message was discredited when these very same people crowded the streets and danced around when it was announced that Joe Biden was going to be the next President of the United States.
The idea that mask wearing was going to be the end-all-be-all of pandemic prevention evaporated immediately when Dr. Anthony Fauci, America’s virus czar, actually discouraged Americans from wearing them back in February. He quickly reversed this position, as well know, but the damage was already done. Americans already knew to take everything the man said with a grain of salt.
So now, here we are — frightful of our neighbors and distrustful of our authorities, or perhaps the other way around.
Just watch the video below and ask yourself — how did we go from where we were in January 2020 to where we are now? Are we ever going to get that life back? It doesn’t seem likely — even as we prepare to distribute vaccines. It’s almost like this didn’t have anything to do with a virus…

You are absolutely right. There are so many things going on that are aimed at making us all subservient. I first noticed it when they adopted Common Core into our schools. Instead of putting the money into the school system to help the students reach the levels of learning, they changed the level to allow students to pass on without get the kind of education they need. It’s referred to as “The dumbing down of America.” Not going to need a good education if there aren’t going to be any jobs available. They’ll just put everyone on a new system of welfare and control their lives completely.

The WalMart employee with the “man bun” is wearing his mask below his nose which nearly nullifies its effectiveness. I believe WalMart policy is to wear the mask correctly, so he is probably violating his employer’s policy. The SARS-CoV2 virus is approximately 130 nanometers in diameter. While this is fairly large for a virus, it is still smaller than the spaces between the fibers in all but N95 masks. While masks may prevent some virus transmission by droplets and aerosols, stopping virus particles themselves with a mask is analogous to keeping mosquitoes out of your lawn with a woven wire fence. Finally, I find it quite ironic when I hear that flu cases are expected to be lower this year because people are wearing masks, but COVID-19 cases are increasing because people are not wearing masks.
You beat me to it about the idiot with the mask below his nose. Why do these sanctamonius posterior depressions think the testers swab noses? I used to have an Analytics professor who preached “you can’t tell if something is the best or works better if you don’t have anything to compare to it.” Where are the comparisons of peope who don’t wear masks? Also, the CDC has NEVER changed it’s “holy” guideline that states “…wear mask where social distancing (the ever changing miracle 6 ft) is not possible.” Our “officials” who want us to be subservient but don’t want us to make decisions for ourselves.
If I get a droplet with the virus on it and breath in the virus is going to come right through the mask. Nullifying everything they are saying about the mask.

After the masks what’s next? The fear I has already done the damage it was intended to do. What country is this? Yes, the flu is just as deadly and will continue to end many lives but don’t look for the media to agree. I will not be like a sheep led to believe what “they” want me to swallow. About a month ago I read an article that said the government will not be tracking the flu at all this year. No reason was given but I’m guessing its so everything can be called Covid (Wuhan China Virus).
