The Scientific Reality of Smartphone Radiation

If it’s electronic and it has the word “smart” in it, it’s probably irradiating you. There are smart meters, smart appliances, smart cars, and of course- there’s your smartphone. All of these devices generate microwave radiation which has been proven to cause tumors with long-term exposure.

But unlike most so-called smart devices, only your smartphone is pressed up against the side of your head for prolonged periods of time. Only your smartphone is kept in your pocket for hours on hours every day. Not only have these things become a standard for telecommunications connectivity, but they are also a source of personal entertainment everywhere we go. Millions of people carry their smartphones into the bedroom, sleep within arm’s reach of it, and are exposed to the radiation these devices generate 24 hours a day.

The fact is that there are many studies that have shown that exposure to wireless devices over long periods of time does cause cancer.

The California Dept of Health says that we should keep at least an arm’s length of distance between ourselves and our phones, at all times.

That is far and away from what many people are willing to do. Your phone is almost perfectly designed to be a thing that a person would be compelled to keep near to them at all times. Even if you don’t watch movies or videos on it, you probably use it for an alarm clock. Most people do, and most people want their alarm clocks within reach of the bed.

The low-frequency radiation that comes from your phone increases your risk of developing mental health disorders, reproductive problems, and cancer. It is a low-grade stressor that affects us on a cellular level. When you keep your cell phone on and near you during sleep, it degrades the quality of your sleep. The tissues that this low-level radiation comes into contact with are disrupted and do not heal and regenerate the way they need to.

The vast majority of our healing functions take place during sleep. That means, if you are sleeping with a cell phone, you are losing out on vital healing time that your body needs to function normally. If you keep your phone in close proximity to your body on a constant basis, you are basically slow cooking yourself.

Fortunately, there are a number of ways you can dramatically reduce the effects of microwave wireless radiation on your health. First, you can keep a distance between you and your phone. This simple action removes almost all of the observed harms that smart devices have been shown to cause. At least an arm’s length away is strongly recommended.

Second, you can keep it in airplane mode, or turn it off when you carry it on your person. Okay, we know this eliminates a big part of what you like about your phone- constant connectivity. But if you think about it, this only stops you from being accessible while you are moving. Every time you sit down, you can turn it on and take calls. Even in the car, you can get the phone out of the danger proximity. You don’t use the cell phone while driving anyway.

You may be thinking, ‘I can use a Bluetooth device to get the phone out of arm’s reach.’ Unfortunately, Bluetooth transmitters are even more dangerous than a cell phone. Not only is the Bluetooth earbud next to your head, but it is jammed into your ear. Microwave radiation is especially reactive with water. So placing it in your ear is cooking your inner ear- which uses a liquid to give you a sense of balance.

Switch your phone to speaker mode or use a wired earphone to maintain privacy.

If you play games on your phone, stop it. If you can’t give up the games, at least put it on airplane mode while you play.

Buy an EMF shielding device and put your phone in it while you carry it. This will enable you to access the phone quickly instead of turning it on and off all the time.

Stop looking at electronic screens at least one hour before you go to bed. The blue light from computer screens prevents you from going to sleep normally, and like drinking coffee- makes sleeping almost an impossibility.

Finally, consider getting a hard-wired landline at home. You’ll be surprised at how cheap they are, and it can cut down on your cell phone bills quite a bit.
