Democrats love to pretend they care about children when it is convenient and serves their agenda – since the tragic events unfolded at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, they are seizing the opportunity to disarm Americans and take away their Second Amendment rights – which Joes Biden called “not absolute.”
They are using those nineteen children and two teachers that died and are exploiting the grief of their families and friends to further their agenda – pretend to care about children on one hand to justify taking away guns – while advocating the brutal slaughter of unborn babies in and, in some instances, out of the womb.
It is not at all surprising that the Democrats would run down this path, anyone could have seen this reaction coming and the irony is this is the same side that has promised to storm Washington D.C and the U.S Supreme Court if Roe v Wade is overturned this summer and abortion is again illegal federally.
It is not just Democrats, however, there is Republican support for the anti-gun lobby and the Republicans in name only – RINOs – are showing their faces.
Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) said on Monday that her was “optimistic” that there will be “sixty plus” votes needed to pass new gun control legislation that has bipartisan support. If there are over sixty votes in favor, it will be enough to overcome a filibuster and send the bill to the floor.
Joe Biden told the Senate, “This time, we have to take the time to do something.”
If the legislation is successfully passed, assault weapons will be banned, along with high-capacity magazines and red-flag, safe storage laws and strengthened background checks will also be put in place.
The age of purchase will also be moved from 18 to 21 years.
Cornyn said he was surprised to know that raising the age of purchase had been taken off the table – obviously, he was wrong to believe Democrats would pull back for a second, when they are close to getting what they want.
“We have to be realistic about what can pass both chambers of Congress and get the president’s signature,” Cornyn said on the Senate floor on Monday. ” And we know it is not easy … I want to be clear; we’re not talking about restricting the rights of law-abiding gun owners or citizens.”
Another Republican Senator, Pat Toomy said during an interview with “Face the Nation” that expanding background checks is “on the table.”
According to a CBS News poll, 81 percent of respondents supported background checks on all potential gun buyers and 72 percent of respondents favored federal red flag laws, while 62 percent supported a nationwide ban on assault weapons.
The Democrat-led House Judiciary Committee has advanced a package of bills called the “Protecting Our Kids Act,” again, one should acknowledge the irony of Democrats coming up with a bill that is called that – while they continue to advocate for the deaths of millions of American children who are subjected to horrific deaths in and out of the womb.

Not only do they kill babies? They are starting wars. Those who advocate for gun control. Want total control period! While they are protected with guns. We are “Pee On’s to them. We don’t need any protection while they are killing us all off.
