WOW: White House Considering Domestic Travel Restrictions to Stop the Spread

President Joe Biden is considering domestic travel bans purportedly as a way to curtail the spread of Coronavirus. In recent days, there have been numerous reports of new strains of the virus in the United Kingdom, the US, and elsewhere. These strains are said to be of higher or unknown lethality compared to the virus that originally came from Wuhan, China.

No specific states are being targeted by the travel bans at this time. Officials are drafting plans in accordance with reports on the behavior of the new strains. Variants of the disease identified in the UK, Florida, Brazil, and South Africa are said to be especially contagious. But of course, we cannot realistically say anything about the contagiousness of a disease that produces no to few symptoms in 90% of those who come into contact with it. Nevertheless, the travel bans are expected to be the most restrictive prohibitions on American’s freedom of movement ever imposed.

A White House official said, “There are active conversations about what could help mitigate the spread here, but we have to follow the data and do what’s going to work. We did this with South Africa and Brazil because we had clear guidance. This is a war and we’re at battle with the virus. War is messy and unpredictable, and all options are on the table.”

This kind of language should make Americans uneasy. The fact remains, as we have been reporting consistently and verifiably throughout this pandemic, that the China-derived virus is at worse, the fourth biggest health risk in the United States. It takes a back seat to cancer, heart disease, car accidents, and even medical error.

Americans have had their businesses destroyed by the lockdowns and by the riots in the wake of the George Floyd protests. Riots in which homes were burned and in which Americans were prosecuted for self-defense were all praised in the mainstream media. Criminals arrested for these crimes were released and had the cases against them thrown out time and time again. All the while, hard-working, law-abiding Americans had their livelihoods destroyed.

Now, we are expected to accept domestic travel bans on top of all this, after a clearly stolen election. We reported on that in great detail as well, and the fact is that the Supreme Court and our representatives refused to look at the evidence.

In all of this madness, only the leadership of Florida has taken a stance against the idea of a domestic travel ban. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis released the following statement in response to the WH announcement saying the governor, “[…] is opposed to travel restrictions and does not believe diagnostic tests should be a prerequisite to domestic air travel.”

Meanwhile, we are hearing repeatedly that vaccinations will not give those who receive them immunity to lockdowns or mask mandates.

As this debate continues, police are actively breaking down the doors of businesses across the nation, arresting people and shuttering small businesses while Wal-Mart, Target, and Amazon fulfillment centers raise signs saying “We’re open.”

  1. When will impeachment of Biden begin!
He is useless and has early signs of Dementia. He should be at home with his wife he constantly goes back to Delaware. He loses his train of thought when speaking. Now he’s reading from a teleprompter!!!!! The world is laughing at the US……………

    • Lynne, impeachment won’t begin as long as Nancy is Speaker of the House. We’ll have to wait until 2023 for that. Of course, Biden will be gone long before that happens, so we’ll need to concentrate on Kamala. Then we’ll have to go after some other bozo who has been appointed to the VP slot. Getting rid of all our problems is a long way off.
