Joe Biden LIED to Parents About Re-Opening Schools

Joe Biden made a campaign promise to voting parents that he would reopen schools by the end of his first 100 days. Recently statements made by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki indicate the Democrat may have grossly misled or outright lied to secure their votes.

“His goal that he set is to have the majority of schools, so, more than 50 percent open by day 100 of his presidency,” Psaki recently stated. “And that means some teaching in classrooms. So, at least one day a week. Hopefully, it’s more. And obviously, it is as much as is safe in each school and local district.”

It’s safe to say that parents struggling to get back to work and pay family bills didn’t vote for “one day a week.” Nor did they anticipate that the slippery Democrat only planned to get half-open one day a week. Just weeks after the November elections, while the outcome had yet to be determined, Biden doubled down on his promise.

“It should be a national priority to get our kids back into school and keep them in school,” Biden stated said in early December. “If Congress provides the funding if states and cities put strong public health measures in place that we all follow, then my team will work to see that the majority of our schools can be open by the end of my first 100 days.”

In terms of economic and socialization relief, Biden appears to have swindled the American public again. Adding insult to injury, the media appears to be leading with a ridiculous Psaki sound-bite that claims the Biden administration’s school policies amount to a “bold and ambitious agenda.”

It seems abundantly clear after the first month that the new administration changed directions on the value of science. During the campaign, Biden and Kamala Harris falsely claimed former President Donald Trump did not follow the science on the virus. However, he routinely deferred to experts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who indicated schools should promptly reopen. Even Biden’s choice for CDC director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, went on the record, stating that the science points to schools reopening and that teachers do not need to be vaccinated in advance.

“There is increasing data to suggest that schools can safely reopen, and that safe reopening does not suggest that teachers need to be vaccinated in order to reopen safely,” Walensky reportedly said.

Everyday Americans may want to take notice that Biden and his Democrat propaganda slingers may be running a scam. The facts are that many states already reopened after meeting federal guidelines established during the Trump Administration. States such as Iowa, Arkansas, Texas, and Florida, reportedly met the standards and reopened.

Not surprisingly, Democrat-run school districts such as Washington, D.C. remained closed in what appears to be an effort to play pandemic politics. Many other states implemented hybrid policies that have pupils splitting time at school and online. It seems the 50 percent, one day per week threshold was achieved before Biden was even declared President-Elect.

It wouldn’t surprise anyone for the Biden administration to wake from their Washington Swamp stupor and declare they met their obligation. One might expect the establishment media to echo that false narrative. Truth be told, Biden has done nothing to change the trajectory of the pandemic or reopen schools. Voters may want to ask themselves whether Biden and Harris lied.
